The main objective of the event was to connect and interact with space enthusiasts  and spread awareness regarding the opportunities in this field for young minds.

The event "Instrumentation and Engineering in Astronomy" featured a talk by Ashish Mhaske, a scientific officer at IUCAA. The discussion covered the role of engineers in astronomy, focusing on electromagnetic wave detectors, particle detectors, and gravitational wave detectors like LIGO. It highlighted opportunities for engineers in building and maintaining astronomical instruments, emphasizing the multidisciplinary nature of astronomy. The session concluded with a Q&A, addressing topics such as gravitational wave detection, dark matter observation, and India's advancements in astronomy.

The Antariksh Club hosted a guest lecture on October 5, 2023, by Prof. Dhruba Saikia, who discussed the "Role of Technology in a Multi-Messenger View of our Universe." The talk explored ancient astronomy, the scientific method, and the use of various technologies in modern astronomy, including telescopes across the electromagnetic spectrum, the James Webb Space Telescope, and the Square Kilometer Array. Prof. Saikia highlighted the limitations of human vision and the challenges of X-ray telescopes. The event deepened participants' understanding of the technological advancements driving astronomical discoveries.

On September 14, 2023, Jameer Manur, founder of Antariksh Club, delivered an insightful talk on "Observational Astronomy: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow" at VIIT, Pune. He covered topics from the role of observational and theoretical astronomy to key celestial bodies, historical figures like Galileo and Newton, and advancements in astronomy detectors. He also discussed the future of astronomy, with technologies like the Thirty Meter Telescope and Devasthal Observatory. The talk ignited curiosity and inspired future astronomers by emphasizing both the past achievements and the future potential of astronomy.

On July 21, 2023, the Antariksh Club at Vishwakarma Institutes hosted an invited talk by former ISRO Group Director Mr. Suresh Naik at VIT, Pune. The event, part of the Faculty Development Programme, attracted over 300 attendees, including faculty and students. Mr. Naik's engaging lecture covered rocket design, Chandrayaan missions, and the discovery of water on the Moon. The interactive session allowed attendees to ask questions about India's space journey and future policies. The successful event highlighted the club's commitment to fostering scientific curiosity and appreciation for space exploration.

On February 24, 2023, the Antariksh Astronomy Club at Vishwakarma Institutes hosted a lecture, "Reaching to the Sun," featuring Dr. Helen Mason from the University of Cambridge. A leading solar scientist, Dr. Mason discussed solar dynamics, sunspots, flares, and the solar wind, highlighting their effects on Earth. The event attracted over 120 students and faculty, offering a unique opportunity for interaction. Dr. Megha Anand from IUCAA and Mr. Jameer Manur, the club mentor, also attended. A lively Q&A followed the lecture, fostering in-depth discussion. The event was a success, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the organizers and volunteers.
