In a thrilling and patriotic event, the Antariksh - Astronomy Club of VI, the astronomy club of Vishwakarma Institutes, left a mark in history as they orchestrated the Live Presentation of Chandrayaan-3's Landing on the Lunar Surface. Held at Lecture Hall B001, Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology (VIIT), Pune, the event united students and space enthusiasts in a collective celebration of India's remarkable achievement in space exploration.

The anticipation in the room was palpable as the live feed from ISRO's Control Room unfolded on screens, showcasing the tense moments leading up to Chandrayaan-3's lunar touchdown. The sense of excitement in the Lecture Hall mirrored that of the professionals at ISRO, who had tirelessly worked on this mission.

As the Chandrayaan-3's Vikram Lander gently descended onto the moon's surface, a wave of jubilation erupted. Also, many Congratulations to the pivotal role played by the Club’s Mentor Jameer Manur Sir, who currently works at IUCAA, Pune, India (Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics). His guidance and support were instrumental in ensuring the success of the event, despite his physical absence. His expertise undoubtedly contributed to the event's seamless execution.

In addition, heartfelt thanks go to Prof. Milind Patil Sir, the faculty coordinator of Antariksh Club of VI, at Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology (VIIT), Pune. His unwavering support and commitment to nurturing young talents in the field of astronomy and space science have been invaluable. His guidance has been pivotal in the club's achievements and the success of this memorable event.

On September 4, 2023, Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT), Pune, celebrated "Chandrayaan Mahotsav" in honor of ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 mission.
